The NHL is divided up into two Conferences those being Eastern and Western and there are four Divisions too. Below I will give you an insight into exact team playing in each Conference and each Division too.

Eastern Conference

Washington Capitals – The final team that are in the Metropolitan Division  is the Washington Capitals and they are of course based over in Washington, D.C. they do of course also have their very own arena which is the Capital One Arena and when full to capacity that arena can hold some 18,506 people.

Western Conference

As for the structure of the Western Conference. Well it is comprised of two Divisions and for reference they are the Central Division and the Pacific Division, and below you will find full details of the teams that are playing in each of those two divisions.

Central Division

Chicago Blackhawks – As for the very first team that plays in the Central Division, well that team is the Chicago Blackhawks and it is in Chicago, Illinois that they are based. Their home arena is called the United Center and it is a large one compared to most others team’s arena as it can hold some 19,717 people in total.

Colorado Avalanche – The second team that are playing in the Central Division are the Colorado Avalanche and they are based in Denver, Colorado, their arena is of course a sponsored one and as such no prizes for guessing which company does sponsor it, and for reference it is called the Pepsi Center which does give you an indication of its sponsor and that arena can hold some 18,007 people too.

Winnipeg Jets – There is just one other team that plays in the Central Division and that team is one that you are bound to have heard of or come across before, and that team is the Winnipeg Jets. They are as their name does so very clearly suggest based in Winnipeg, and they do have their own home arena and it is one that can hold when it is filled to capacity a total of some 15,321 fans.

Pacific Division

Anaheim Ducks – The very first team that I will be introducing you to that plays in the Pacific Division is the Anaheim Ducks, and they are located over in Anaheim, California and their home arena is known as the Honda Center and when it is full it can comfortably hold a total of 17,174 fans.

Arizona Coyotes – The Arizona Coyotes are in Glendale which is in the State of Arizona as too is their arena which is called the Gila River Arena and can hold a total of 17,125 people when it is full to capacity.

Calgary Flames – As for where the Calgary Flames are based and play each of their home matches well that is in Calgary, Alberta at the Scotiabank Saddledome which does hold a very large number of spectators due to its capacity being a whopping 19,289 people.

Edmonton Oilers – The Edmonton Oilers are based in Edmonton, which is in Alberta and their home matches are all played at their very own arena of course which is called Rogers Place which has a capacity of some 18,347.

Los Angeles Kings – You will find that the Los Angeles Kings play their home games and are based in Los Angeles, California, and their home area is Kwon as the Staples Center which can hold some 18,230 fans in total.
