The next major tournament on the darts circuit is of course the Czech Darts Open which gets underway later today, and there are, as you would expect with the huge prize pool up for grabs, plenty of players taking part in it.
You will of course have all of the usual darts betting opportunities, no matter at which of our featured betting sites, bookies and sportsbooks you choose to bet at, and today is the day when I will take a look at some of the markets movers and the players that are being bet on.
It isn’t going to be too much of a surprise for any of you darts fanatics out there to learn that it is Michael Van Gerwen that is currently heading the betting markets on the Czech Darts Open, and you will be lucky if you can find a bookie offering higher odds on him winning this tournament than 10/11.
There is something of a massive jump in the odds attached to all other players in this tournament, due to the fact that Gerwen is the red-hot favourite to win it, and as such by backing the second favourite before the tournament starts, that being James Wade you can get odds of 12/1 on him.
Each-Way Betting
I do think that most punters are going to be looking to place an each-way bet on this tournament, for there is no getting away from the fact that Gerwen does look the most likely winner, and by picking a player that finished ins second spot could see some much better value.
As for just what each-way betting terms are being offered, well I have seen a small number of betting sites that are paying out to two places, and at one third of the win odds too, so do consider placing such a bet if you want to get a better valued winning pay-out rather than backing Gerwen to win.
Odds Available on Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright
The next two players in the betting are the joint third favourites, and those of you that do follow darts tournaments across the globe will know that it is Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright that are those two joint third favourites and you can get odds of or around the 14/1 mark on both of them.
Ian White may just up his game enough in the Czech Darts Open to fill one of the top two spots, and if you o think there is a very good chance that he may just do that then now is the time to play your money down and take advantage of the early 16/1 odds being offered on him.
The only other player that has been attracting any kind of support is Daryl Gurney, but you will be taking some risks backing him to win or even backing him each-way but the 20/1 odds I have seen being touted on him may be high enough for you to have a small bet on him.
